Dropbox Unveils New Flat Logo

Few days back, Yahoo adopted new logo. Google is also rumored to working on new flat logo. So, Dropbox has also decided to unveil its brand logo. This new logo is flat to simplify the brand.

Dropbox will use this new flatter logo across all its web apps and mobile apps. This simplified glyph logo was initially rolled out for iPhone app. After that company has started using it in more internally and externally.

“The glyph is simple, functional, and we think it feels like us. It’s recognizable at small and large sizes, works in color and black and white, and is made of solid, sturdy shapes that hold up well in physical environments. It’s built to last. Plus, you can fax the heck out of it! 20th century logo designers would be proud,” Dropbox said about new logo.

New logo is already in use in all Dropbox apps including Windows, OS X, Linux, Android and iOS. For Windows 8, company has swapped the logo and background color to match well with tiles.
