Dropbox Acquires Mailbox

Cloud storage service Dropbox is offering 1 GB additional cloud storage space for free. To get this extra storage, you will have to link your Mailbox account with Dropbox. If you have already linked your Mailbox account with Dropbox, a little trick may help. Unlink accounts and then re-link to get 1 GB extra space.

Get 1 GB Extra on Dropbox by Linking Accont with Mailbox

To link Dropbox, install Mailbox app (available only for iPhone/iPad) and then go to settings. Here tap on “Dropbox.” Add your account details and receive more cloud storage. After this, you will have 21 GB cloud storage for storing and sharing your photos videos and other files.

Dropbox also confirmed that never mistakenly think it as a promotional offer for Mailbox.

Mailbox is the email service that was acquired by Dropbox in March. Mailbox currently supports only Gmail service. But company has promised to bring support for more email services soon.
