Apple’s has finally made available iWork for iCloud.com to all users. Initially, it was available only to selected developers and iCloud users.

iWork for iCloud

Apple announced iCloud for iWork at Worldwide Developer Conference in June. Currently the platform is available in public beta. iCloud users will see icons for page (a word processor), Numbers (spreadsheet tool) and a keynote (a presentation tool) in iCloud dashboard along with other iCloud icons.

Through this service, users will be able to access, edit and save their documents through web based apps. Documents would be synchronized over the internet to iCloud accounts. Currently it is available on Windows and Mac devices. It supports Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Safari browser.

If you have Apple ID, you can go to iCloud.com, sign in and see web apps there. If you do not have Apple ID, you need to sign up at Apple’s website, activate iCloud on Apple device and use it.

Apple also claims that the service is fully functional. Keynote application can also play presentations right from browser.
