We already knew that Google Glass explorer editions are ready and will start shipping from May. Google will ship the fist batch of Google Glass devices to those who already paid $1500 to company in last year’s Google I/o. But it seems that there is a change in schedule and Google is making everything faster than expectation. Android Community confirms that Google has already started shipping the first batch of Google Glass from yesterday.

Google is also sending emails to customers confirming that Google is starting shipping the pre-order edition to 2,000 buyers who paid for Project Glass. Google also said that hardware and software is ready. Although software is not 100% final but it is good enough for developers.

Company wants to release this gadget to developers before releasing it for general public. Developers would play an important role by making useful apps to make this gadget more useful for people. All developers will get their glass by the end of next month. After that, Google will start shipping it for those contest winners who were lucky to get a chance to purchase the glasses.

If everything will go fine, we can expect many people with Google Glasses in upcoming Google I/O.
