Filesonic is dead, Domain has been sold

This case forced many other cyberloackers to change their business models and services to avoid Megaupload like crisis. The recent example can be taken from the popular website Filesonic which is now dead. Filesonic was one of the top 10 file sharing website on the internet with billions of page views. It had also taken few steps to avoid copyright infringement cases back in December 2011. It also partnered with anti-piracy company Vobile in december 2011. But it was reported as a major infringing distribution hub in February 2012.

Now the website is unreachable from its domain. It seems that the website has been taken offline. Filesonic has multiple domains on the internet and all the domains were registered to Earnwell Hong Kong LTD, the company behind Filesonic. But, the main domain of website, filesonic.com is now registered to Seychelles-based Renovatio Management Limited. Other domains of Filesonic still resolves a website which shows the blank page.

The reason is unclear as there is no official information about the Filesonic. No one is replying about these changes. We are trying to get more news about Filesonic and will update you soon.
