Twitter has just rolled out a new update to its popular Twitter client. Now this Twitter client has reached to version 1.5 for Windows, Chrome and Mac OS X. This new update brings some new features along with performance improvements.

To make browsing faster, this app brings improved navigation with multiple columns support. This new app looks similar to the web version of TweetDeck with all columns now arranged in one continuous horizontal row.

New interaction column shows all of your mentions. It also shows alerts when you have been followed, added to a list, retweeted or favorited. Activity column shows real-time feed of your Twitter account.

Now it has easy list management which allows users to create, edit and delete lists directly in the app. In the toolbar, you will also find a dedicated list button on the toolbar. To manage the user list, it also added an “Add or Remove from lists” menu item.

It also added an inline media preview to view images and video faster. If you do not want to see the media in in-line mode, just turn this option off under Settings > General. To view the large preview of the image, you need to click on the preview image or the URL in the Tweet.

To update your windows app, restart the app. It will update automatically, if you are connected to the internet. For Chrome app, follow the same way. Restart your browser. To update app on Mac OS X, open the Mac App Store, click Updates and grab the updated TweetDeck app.
