new yahoo calanderLast year, Yahoo had announced the newer version of Yahoo mail which promised better performance and a few other enhancements. Now Yahoo has done the same thing with Yahoo  Calender and launched the newer version of Yahoo calendar, a less used product.

“In the coming weeks, we will be launching an all-new Yahoo! Calendar. The new design is based on the latest version of Yahoo! Mail and has a more intuitive design with improved navigation capability, “Ashish Parnami, Sr. Product Manager Yahoo Mail & Calendar announced.

Here’s what the new Yahoo! Calendar has in store:

  • Cleaner design with easy discovery and navigation
  • Much faster interface
  • New toolbar buttons to navigate between day, week, and month views
  • Improved month view with full event titles and all the day events
  • All the themes that you use with the latest version of Yahoo! Mail
  • Holiday calendars from 15 new countries
  • And a lot more..

Users should already be seeing the new Yahoo Calendar, but those that haven’t gotten it yet should expect it very soon now.
