Google buys Katango to boost Google+

Add Techlomedia as a preferred source on Google. Preferred Source

Google has acquired Katango, a startup for people sorting algorithm. Google will surely integrate this with Google+ to improve quality of circles.
Katango was earlier known as CafeBots and was founded by Kleiner Perkins sFund, a year ago. 
Company said in an announcement,”We’re excited to join the Google+ team and carry on fulfilling that mission. Google+ is seeing tremendous momentum, so it’s a perfect time to join and make Circles smarter for millions of people.”
Although this startup was initially developed for facebook as a friend sorter. And facebook was also the investor in this startup. But Google has taken a much interest in this startup to improve its Google+. Here’s a statement from a Google spokesperson,“We were impressed by the Katango team’s innovative approach to making your social circles smarter, and we think they’ll be a great addition to the Google+ team.”
