Motorola unveils new Moto X with 5.2-inch FHD display

Today, Motorola has announced the updated Moto X smartphone at a press event in New Delhi. It comes with better specifications than its predecessor in almost every aspect.

Just like its predecessor, users in United States will be able to customize their Moto X smartphone using Moto Maker.

New Moto X

New Moto X will be up for sale in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia later this month. It will be priced at $99.99 with the usual two-year contract In US. it will also be available without contract for $499.99.

New Moto X is powered by a 2.5 GHz Quad-core processor with Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB RAM. It has a 5.3 inch 1080p AMOLED display with 423 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass. It features a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED rind flash and 4k video recording. It also has a 2 megapixel front camera for voice calling.

It comes with stock ANdroid 4.4.4 kitkat out of the box with few Motorola additions like improved voice commands and handy gesture controls.
