Chinese apps are always blamed for collecting users Data and sending it to China. Recently, Mi Browser was accused of the same. UC browser was also removed from App Store for similar things. Most security researchers suggest staying away from Chinese apps because Chinese apps share data with Chinese authorities.

After the series of political and business incidents during Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, it has become clear how China is using this pandemic for business and political benefits. So, it has also become important to avoid Chinese products and give China an economic shock. Notable influencers in India have called to boycott Chinese products because China is now using its power to create more border disputes with all neighboring countries.
