We all like getting notifications on Facebook. Most of the people check Facebook in every 5 minutes just to see notifications. Notification is a nice way to get update happened in the post of us or in the post we are tagged in. This give us latest update of Facebook in our account. But notifications from the posts which we do not care is irritating. Suppose you are tagged in a post on Facebook or you have made a comment on a post. Now you will receive notifications each time some one comments on the post. This is too irritating when some unknown person added in your list have tagged you. In this case, you will be receiving notifications from unknown persons.
But there is a way by which you can stop notifications from these irritating notifications and excuse yourself from the conversation, without anyone even knowing.
See the steps given below to unfollow a post and stop receiving notifications.
- Login to your Facebook account.
- Go to the post from which you want to stop notifications.
- Just below the post, you will see 4 links. Like, Comment, Unfollow Post, Share.
- Click on unfollow Post.
- Now you will not receive any notification when a new comment is left.
By the same way, you can follow any post on Facebook. You can also follow any post to receive notifications without commenting on the post.
Many people think before commenting on a post just because of these irritating comments. Now they have a nice way to stop notifications. Add a comment and then unfollow the post to stop all the notifications for further comments.
