How to make desktop app of your favourite websites

On the internet you open hundreds of website daily, but there are few websites which are your favourite and you like to open it many times a day. You can also make desktop app of your favourite websites. In this way, you can open these website just by an icon on your desktop. You do neet to open browser and enter the URL in address bar.

You can create the desktop app of a website if you have Google chrome installed in your system. Google chrome has a nice option to add your favorite website to your desktop as a desktop app.

Follow these steps to add website to desktop.

Click on the “wrench” icon at the right side of your browser’s address bar and then navigate mouse ove the “tools” menu.
Now click on “Create application shortcuts.”
In the new window, you can select to create shortcut on your desktop, on star menu or in quick launch. Select “desktop” to create a desktop shortcut.
Now you will see the website shortcut on the desktop for quick access of the website.
