AmazonBasics Fire TV Edition 4K smart TVs Launched in India Starting at Rs. 29,999

Amazon India has quietly launched AmazonBasics Fire TV Edition 4K smart TVs in India. There are two size variants of 50 and 55 inches priced starting at Rs. 29999. The most notable feature of these smart TVs is the support for the Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

Both the models come with Ultra-HD (3840×2160-pixel) LED screens with support for Dolby Vision format. The display panel has a refresh rate of 60Hz and promises a viewing angle of up to 178-degrees. For good audio, these smart TVs pack speaker rated for 20W output and also support Dolby Atmos.

These smart TVs are powered by a quad-core Amlogic processor. There are three HDMI ports and two USB ports. Both the models run on Amazon’s Fire TV OS with built-in Alexa and Alexa voice controls. The interface will be the same as what you see in the Fire TV stick. You can ask Alexa to set reminders and timers. There’s also an option to enable parental control to restrict what your kids watch.

The remote control also comes with dedicated keys for Prime Video, Netflix, and Amazon Music. The minimal remote also has a mic for Alexa voice search.

Amazon India is offering a 1-year Comprehensive Warranty and an additional 1-year warranty on the panel. Service and installation will be provided by Amazon Home service.
