Xiaomi X Pro Series QLED TVs Promise Full Cinematic Experience

Xiaomi X Pro Series QLED TVs

Xiaomi India has just introduced its brand-new QLED TV lineup, the X Pro Series, in India. It claims to transform your home into a personal cinema. It features Dolby Vision, Filmmaker Mode, Xiaomi’s signature sound system, and smart content recommendations to meet the entertainment needs of modern Indian households.

Xiaomi is offering screen sizes ranging from 43 to 65 inches to deliver premium experiences at budget-friendly prices.

The X Pro Series comes with Dolby Vision and Filmmaker Mode. The Filmmaker Mode claims to preserve the director’s original intent, right down to the frame rate, sharpness, and aspect ratio. This means you enjoy the movie the way it was meant to be seen. It comes with a QLED panel to ensure deeper blacks, punchier colors, and high contrast ratios. The ultra-smooth motion handles eliminate blur even during fast-paced sequences.. It is an ideal setup for both binge-watchers and casual viewers.

It also has integrated Xiaomi Sound to deliver richer, more immersive sound. The 34W box speakers come enhanced with DTS:X, DTS Virtual:X, and Dolby Audio to give you clarity in dialogues, depth in bass, and width in the surround stage.

The X Pro QLED Series runs on Google TV with Xiaomi’s own PatchWall UI. It also has a dedicated Kids Mode with parental controls. Other notable features include Google Assistant for voice control, Smart home integration, and support for casting from phones and laptops using AirPlay 2, Miracast, and Google Cast.

Xiaomi has also added a future-ready remote with dedicated buttons for popular apps and Google Assistant. It also includes the mute button—a much-needed addition for Indian users.

The build quality feels premium. The TV also has 32GB internal storage, 3 HDMI ports (one with eARC), 2 USB ports, Bluetooth, AV, Ethernet, and more.

It is important to note that Lumio also launched its smart TVs today. Looking at the pricing and features, Lumio TVs will compete directly with the Xiaomi X Pro QLED TV series. Lumio QLED TVs have vibrant displays and support for HDR formats like HDR10 and Dolby Audio. However, they usually do not offer advanced features like Dolby Vision IQ or Filmmaker Mode, which are available on Xiaomi TVs.

In terms of sound, Xiaomi also seems to perform better with its 34W speakers and support for DTS:X and Dolby Audio. On the other hand, Lumio is focusing on fast performance as its main highlight. This could be useful for people who want a smooth and fast experience. However, I have not compared both models yet, so I cannot comment on the real-world performance.

In short, Lumio is a good option if you want the basics done well, but Xiaomi’s X Pro QLED series offers more features, better sound, and a more cinematic experience.
