Along with the Pixel 9 Series and Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Google also launched the Pixel Watch 3. The company has also launched the smartwatch in India.
Pixel Watch 3 comes in 41mm and 45mm sizes that offer 1.2-inch and 1.4-inch displays. Both models feature an Actua AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. The display has a 60Hz refresh rate and can go all the way down to just 1Hz in always-on-display.
The watch packs a Qualcomm SW5100 chipset, 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage. It runs Wear OS 5.0 and offers several new health features including Daily Readiness, Cardio Load, and Target Load. It provides insights into recovery and training. Google has introduced Loss of Pulse Detection that can detect when the heart suddenly stops beating and automatically call emergency services.
It has usual features like sleep detection, activity tracking, Blood Oxygen (SpO2) Monitoring, Stress Tracking, Breathing Rate Tracking, and Skin Temperature Tracking. The daily Readiness feature provides a personalized score each morning to tell you your body’s readiness for physical activity. The Cardio Load is a metric to tell you the intensity of your workouts and it helps you understand how hard you are pushing yourself. The Target Load feature suggests a personalized target heart rate zone for workouts. It also provides Advanced Running Metrics to track detailed metrics like ground contact time, stride length, and vertical oscillation.
Pixel Watch 3 has a deeper integration with Google and Pixel devices. So, users can control smart home devices like Google TV Streamer, unlock their Phones and cars, and more.
Connectivity options are Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NFC, and Ultra-Wideband chip. It also has an optional 4G LTE model.
Pixel Watch 3 promises all-day battery backup and up to 36 hours with Battery Saver Mode. It also promises fast charging and can be charged up to 80% in 50 minutes.
Pixel Watch 3 is priced at Rs 39,990 for the 41mm Wi-Fi model and 45mm costs Rs 43,990. It will be available for pre-order starting from August 28th.
