MIVI has announced its after-sales service framework ahead of the launch of its first 5G smartphone, the MIVI One 5G. The company has introduced MIVI Care+, which will cover warranty, replacements, repairs and customer support for the upcoming smartphone.
The new service plan focuses on making support easier to access, with both physical service centres and digital assistance options.
The MIVI One 5G will come with a standard one-year warranty at no additional cost. MIVI is also offering a seven-day replacement policy under its “Replaced, not repaired” approach. For repairs, the company says customers will have access to more than 500 service centres across the country. MIVI will also offer doorstep pickup and return for devices that need maintenance.
MIVI Care+ will also have a dedicated mobile app for service and support requests. This should give users another way to raise service issues and track assistance without having to visit a service centre for every request.
The combination of service centres, doorstep support and the dedicated app suggests that MIVI is putting more focus on after-sales support as it enters the smartphone market.
The MIVI One 5G will launch in India on September 24, 2026. It will be sold exclusively through Flipkart.
MIVI has already confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The phone will be available in green, purple and blue colour options.
The MIVI One 5G will be the company’s first 5G smartphone, so its pricing, hardware and overall software experience will be important. However, the Care+ announcement shows that MIVI is also trying to address one of the key concerns for a new smartphone brand: after-sales support.
