Smartphone prices have been going up over the past few months due to the ongoing rise in RAM prices. Several brands have either increased prices or launched phones with lower RAM configurations to keep costs under control. Amid this trend, Realme has announced a price cut for the Realme 16T in India.
The company has reduced the price of the Realme 16T by Rs 2,000 across all storage variants. Along with this, buyers can also get an additional Rs 2,000 instant discount using select bank cards. The offer is currently available on the Realme India website and is valid until July 12, 2026.
Here are the latest prices of the Realme 16T:
| Variant | Effective Price* |
|---|---|
| 6GB + 128GB | Rs 25,999 |
| 8GB + 128GB | Rs 27,999 |
| 8GB + 256GB | Rs 30,999 |
Note: Prices include the applicable bank discount.
Buyers can also avail a 10-month no-cost EMI option during the offer period.
The price cut is interesting because it comes at a time when the smartphone industry is witnessing price hikes. Rising RAM costs have pushed manufacturers to either increase prices or reduce specifications. Realme itself recently increased the prices of the Realme 16 series in India.
While the company has not shared a reason for this price cut, it could be an effort to boost sales of the Realme 16T by making it more attractive to buyers.
The Realme 16T features a 6.8-inch HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
It runs Realme UI 7 based on Android 16. Realme has also promised three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates for the device.
The phone packs a 50MP primary camera along with a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera.
