Apple has officially released the iOS 27 Public Beta. So, iPhone users can now try the latest version of iOS ahead of its stable release. The public beta arrives a little over a month after iOS 27 was unveiled at WWDC 2026 and introduces a redesigned interface, a smarter Siri, and several new Apple Intelligence features.
One of the biggest highlights of iOS 27 is the upgraded Siri. The new assistant offers better context awareness and visual intelligence, making it more capable of understanding requests and providing relevant responses. Apple has also added several AI-powered tools, including the new Reframe feature, which uses generative AI to help users edit and enhance their content.
The update also brings improvements to several built-in apps. Users can create custom digital passes in the Wallet app, while the Photos app gets an improved Clean Up tool for removing unwanted objects from images. Apple has also introduced several other enhancements across the operating system.
Apple has expanded iOS 27 support to the iPhone 11 and newer models. However, advanced Apple Intelligence features, including the new Siri experience, will only be available on supported newer iPhone models with compatible hardware.
How to install the iOS 27 Public Beta
Before installing the beta, users need to register for Apple’s Beta Software Program or sign in with an Apple Account enrolled for beta updates.
After registering, follow these steps:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Go to General > Software Update.
