Lenovo has launched the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 in India. It is an AI-powered tablet focused on productivity, creativity, and entertainment. The company is positioning it as a device for work and media consumption.
The tablet comes with a slim design. It is 6.2mm thick and weighs 598g. It has a 13-inch 3.5K PureSight Pro display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display supports up to 800 nits of brightness and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, which makes it suitable for both media and creative work.
It packs the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile platform, which includes a 3.2 GHz octa-core processor, Hexagon NPU, Qualcomm AI Engine, and Adreno 825 GPU. The device also has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Users can also expand storage up to 2TB using a microSD card.

These features work with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus to select text, create summaries, and generate explanations. The content is saved inside Lenovo Notepad for easy access.
There is also Live Transcription, which converts speech into real-time text. This can be useful for lectures, meetings, or conversations.
Another feature is Lenovo Smart AI Input. It is activated through a dedicated Smart Key on the keyboard. It allows users to generate text, refine content, or translate language using simple prompts.
The tablet also supports Google Gemini, Circle to Search, real-time translation, and other AI creation tools. It runs on Android 16 and will receive OS upgrades up to Android 18, along with 4 years of security updates until 2030.
For audio, the tablet uses a quad-speaker setup tuned by JBL with Dolby Atmos support. On the camera side, it includes a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for video calls and basic photography. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E/7 class support and Bluetooth 6.0.
The battery is a 10,200mAh unit with 45W fast charging support. Lenovo claims it is built for long usage sessions, especially for content consumption and productivity tasks.
