Haier Appliances India has launched a new range of smart TVs in the country under its Google TV lineup. The new series is called the Haier H5E Series, and it comes in four screen sizes. Buyers can choose between 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch models.
All TVs in the Haier H5E Series feature a 4K resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. The panels support HDR10, which helps improve contrast and color detail while watching supported content. Haier claims a wide 178-degree viewing angle, so the picture should look consistent even when viewed from the sides. The TVs offer up to 320 nits of brightness, which is suitable for normal indoor viewing conditions. The H5E Series includes MEMC technology. This helps reduce motion blur while watching sports or fast-moving scenes.
These smart TVs are powered by an ARM Advanced Multi-Core Cortex-A55 processor. The TVs come with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which should be enough for daily streaming apps and system updates.
The series runs on Google TV with features like Google Assistant and Google Watchlist. Users can search for content, control smart home devices, or ask questions using voice commands. Haier also offers a remote with a one-touch button for quick access.
On the audio side, Haier has added 20W speakers with Dolby Audio support. The company’s own TotalSonics audio technology is also included to improve sound clarity and volume without external speakers.
Connectivity options on the Haier H5E Series include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5. For wired connections, the TVs offer four HDMI ports and two USB ports
Haier is offering a one-year warranty on all models in the H5E Series.
