Amazon has introduced a new range of televisions called Ember Artline TVs. These new TVs are designed to look more like wall art than a traditional television. Amazon says the idea is to help the TV blend better with home interiors while still offering a full Fire TV experience.
The Ember Artline TVs will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes. Prices start at $899. The TVs will launch alongside the newly redesigned Fire TV interface.
The Ember Artline TVs feature a frame-based design. It offers ten different frame options so users can match the TV with their room style. The available frame colours and finishes include Walnut, Ash, Teak, Black Oak, Matte White, Midnight Blue, Fig, Pale Gold, Graphite, and Silver.

The TV is also very slim and measures around one and a half inches in thickness. It uses a matte display finish, which helps reduce reflections and glare. This makes the screen look more like a framed artwork when it is not actively being used.
Ember Artline TVs take full advantage of Fire TV’s Ambient features. When the TV is idle, it can display artwork instead of a blank screen. Amazon offers access to more than 2,000 free art pieces. Users can also display their own photos. With Alexa Plus support, voice commands can be used to show specific photo collections or create slideshows from Amazon Photos.
The Ember Artline TVs come with 4K QLED panels. The display supports up to 450 nits of brightness, which is suitable for most living room environments. Amazon has confirmed this brightness figure after correcting earlier information.
The TVs support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for improved contrast and colour performance. Wi-Fi 6 support is also included for faster and more stable streaming.
These TVs ship with the new Fire TV interface out of the box. The updated design focuses more on content discovery and simpler navigation. Users get clearer categories like Movies, TV, Live TV, Sports, and News, along with faster performance on supported hardware.
Alexa Plus is also integrated, allowing users to search for content, control smart home devices, and manage photos using natural language voice commands.
