ASUS has unveiled the ROG Zephyrus Duo, calling it the world’s first 16-inch dual-screen gaming laptop. It is built for gamers and creators who want high performance and serious multitasking in a single device.
Zephyrus Duo is a dual-screen laptop. It features two 16-inch ROG Nebula HDR OLED touchscreens. Together, they offer more than 21 inches of total screen space. Both displays have a sharp 3K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a very fast 0.2ms response time. The main screen also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC for smoother gameplay. With up to 1100 nits peak brightness and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, HDR content looks vibrant and detailed. The screens also cover 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and offer excellent color accuracy, which makes them suitable for professional creative work.
The magnetic keyboard can be used like a normal laptop keyboard, but it can also be detached and used wirelessly over Bluetooth. Even with a slim 5.1mm profile, it offers 1.7mm key travel, which is good for a gaming laptop. The touchpad is now much larger and supports smooth multi-touch gestures in all usage modes.
The Zephyrus Duo supports multiple ways to use the laptop. Thanks to a 90-degree kickstand and a hinge that rotates up to 320 degrees, it offers five different modes. These include a dual-screen mode for multitasking, a standard laptop mode for gaming, a flat sharing mode for meetings, a book-style portrait mode for reading or coding, and a tent mode for shared gaming or media viewing.
The laptop comes with the latest Intel processor featuring 16 cores and 32 threads. This makes it suitable for heavy workloads and modern games. Graphics are handled by up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with a maximum TGP of 135W. This GPU supports features like DLSS 4, Frame Generation, and advanced ray tracing for high-end gaming and AI tasks.
The laptop uses a custom vapor chamber, redesigned dual fans, and a graphite sheet that covers both the CPU and GPU. Since there are no keyboard air intake vents, airflow has been optimized internally to maintain stable performance.
Other features include up to 64GB of LPDDR5X memory, up to 2TB of PCIe 5.0 SSD storage, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and a 90Wh battery. It runs Windows 11 Pro and offers a wide range of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and an SD card reader.
The Zephyrus Duo features a CNC-milled aluminum body and comes in a new Stellar Grey color. It also includes an updated Slash Lighting system with 35 lighting zones, allowing more customization and personalization.
ROG Zephyrus Duo will launch in the first quarter of 2026. The company has not shared exact prices yet. Given the flagship-level hardware, dual OLED screens, and premium design, the Zephyrus Duo is expected to be priced in the high-end gaming laptop range.
