WhatsApp Officially Launches Its Apple Watch App with Voice Messages, Reactions, and More

As I reported earlier that Meta was working on a dedicated WhatsApp app for Apple Watch, Meta has finally unveiled the WhatsApp app for Apple Watch. This is an important step for WhatsApp users who want to stay connected without constantly checking their iPhones.

WhatsApp app for Apple Watch brings several of WhatsApp’s most requested features directly to the wrist. Users can now read and send full messages, reply using text or voice, receive call notifications, view photos and stickers, and even react with emojis.

WhatsApp for Apple Watch also improves the chat experience by showing more of your conversation history and delivering sharper images and stickers. Voice messaging has been integrated seamlessly. Users can record and send quick audio notes on the go..

Meta has ensured that end-to-end encryption remains intact. So, your messages and calls stay private just like on mobile devices.

The new WhatsApp app is compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 or later, running watchOS 10 or newer. Meta says this launch is just the beginning, and more improvements will arrive based on user feedback in upcoming updates.
