OnePlus is preparing to launch the OnePlus 15 in China soon, with a global unveiling expected in mid-November. Ahead of the launch, the company has teased the phone’s display to give fans a first look at its improvements.
The OnePlus 15 display is made by BOE and will be fully presented by the manufacturer on October 14. OnePlus has revealed that the screen comes with a 165Hz refresh rate, 13% higher brightness, and 11.8% improved color accuracy and consistency, likely compared to the OnePlus 13.
The panel features ultra-thin 1.15mm bezels on all sides. It also promises 10% lower power consumption and a 30% longer lifespan than the previous generation.

The display is enhanced by an Oppo P3 chip, which supports faster response times and keeps brightness stable during high refresh rate usage. It also offers hardware-level 1 nit minimum brightness, certified by TÜV Rheinland, for better visibility in low-light conditions.
Interestingly, the resolution has been downgraded to 1.5K from the QHD+ panel of its predecessor. While the slight downgrade in resolution might disappoint some fans, the improvements in brightness, color accuracy, and power efficiency indicate that OnePlus is focusing on overall display quality and battery performance.
The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset to ensure top-tier performance alongside the upgraded display.
The combination of 165Hz refresh rate, better color consistency, and longer lifespan could make the OnePlus 15 one of the best-performing displays in its segment.
With the global launch just around the corner, OnePlus fans can expect the company to reveal more specifications and pricing soon
