Apple has officially announced the Apple Watch Series 11 at its “Awe Dropping” event alongside the new iPhone 17 lineup. The new smartwatch brings better durability, faster connectivity, and an important new health feature that could save lives.

Apple says the Watch Series 11 is the thinnest and most comfortable Apple Watch ever. The display now comes with a new ceramic coating that is bonded at an atomic level, making it two times more durable than before. This improvement is designed to handle daily wear and outdoor use more effectively.

The Apple Watch Series 11 now supports 5G connectivity with most carriers at launch. This upgrade means faster downloads, smoother streaming, and better call quality even when your iPhone is not nearby.

The biggest new health feature in the Series 11 is hypertension tracking. Using the built-in sensors, the watch can detect early signs of chronic high blood pressure. Apple highlighted how hypertension often goes unnoticed and can lead to serious health problems if left untreated. With this feature, the Watch Series 11 aims to give users an early warning so they can seek medical advice and make lifestyle changes.

Availability

The Apple Watch Series 11 will be available for pre-order soon and is expected to reach stores later this month. Apple has not yet revealed all pricing details, but it is expected to launch in the same price range as previous Series models.
