Adobe has announced that its popular video editing software, Adobe Premiere, is coming to the iPhone. This new app is designed to give creators the same powerful tools that professionals use, but in a simplified and mobile-friendly package. It will be available later this month on iOS, and pre-orders have already started on the App Store. The best thing is that the video editing app will be available for free with no ads or watermarks.
The new Premiere mobile app is aimed at creators on the go. Whether you are editing videos for social media, client projects, or personal moments, the app promises professional results without complexity. Adobe says the app has an uncluttered design with no watermarks or distractions, so users can stay focused on creativity.
The app brings a multi-track timeline, vibrant audio waveforms, frame-accurate editing, and support for 4K HDR. You can trim, layer, and fine-tune clips just like in the desktop version. There are also features such as automatic captions, stylized subtitles, unlimited layers for video, audio, and text, making it suitable for both short-form and long-form content.
Adobe is also adding AI-powered tools. Creators will be able to use Generative Sound Effects to create custom sounds with text prompts, and Enhance Speech to clean up voiceovers recorded in noisy environments. With Adobe Firefly integration, users can generate unique visuals, sounds, and effects that are safe for commercial use. In addition, the app provides access to Adobe Stock assets, Adobe Fonts, and Lightroom presets.

For publishing, the app is designed to work seamlessly with social media. Videos can be exported directly to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram with one tap. The app can also auto-resize videos for different platforms while keeping the main subject in focus. Projects started on the phone can be continued on a desktop in Premiere Pro.
Adobe says the app was developed with feedback from creators worldwide. The company also confirmed that an Android version is in development, but there is no release timeline yet.
