Samsung launches Galaxy Book5 with AI features and slim design in India

Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Book5 series in India with the launch of the Galaxy Book5. The new laptop comes with AI-powered features, a slimmer design, and a lighter build compared to the previous generation.

Samsung Galaxy Book5 features a 15.6-inch Full HD anti-glare display. It comes in four variants powered by Intel Core Ultra 5 and Intel Core Ultra 7 processors. Samsung claims over 38 percent improved graphics performance compared to the Galaxy Book4. The laptop also includes a 12 TOPS NPU dedicated to AI tasks. You get up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB NVMe SSD, which is further expandable with 2 slots.

It includes a good range of ports such as HDMI, USB-C, USB 3.2, RJ45, MicroSD reader, and combo audio jack. For security, it features TPM and a fingerprint reader.

On the software side, the laptop brings several AI features. AI Photo Remaster improves image quality, AI Select helps in searching across files, and features like Copilot with Hot Key, Circle to Search, and Transcript Assist are aimed at better task and content management. The device also supports the Galaxy Connected Experience with Multi Control, Second Screen, and Quick Share.

The laptop packs a 61.2Wh battery that promises up to 19 hours of video playback.

The Samsung Galaxy Book5 starts at Rs. 77,990 in Grey. Buyers can also avail up to Rs. 10,000 cashback and 24 months no-cost EMI. It is now available via Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive Stores, leading online platforms, and select retail outlets.
