Samsung has launched a new pair of earbuds, the Galaxy Buds3 FE. It is priced at USD 149.99 (about Rs. 13,080) and sits in the mid-range. Galaxy Buds3 FE bring features like Active Noise Cancellation and Galaxy AI integration.
The Buds3 FE follow Samsung’s new blade-shaped design. They have a matte dual-tone finish with semi-transparent touches. Each earbud weighs just 5 grams and carries an IP54 rating, so they can handle dust and light splashes. The case is compact too, at 41.8 grams.
Samsung has gone with a 1-way dynamic driver. That should give a balanced sound, though not as rich as multi-driver setups you see in some higher-end models. You get ANC to cut outside noise and an Ambient Sound mode to let sounds in when needed.
Calling is backed by Samsung’s Crystal Clear Call tech, which uses three mics and machine learning to improve voice clarity.
The Buds3 FE come with Galaxy AI support. You can use voice commands for real-time translation, checking schedules or emails, and even locating the earbuds. The earbuds also support pinch and swipe controls, and pairing is simple with the cradle button. Auto Switch makes it easier if you own more than one Galaxy device.
Battery life is decent, not amazing. With ANC on, you get about 6 hours from the earbuds and 24 hours with the case. Turn ANC off, and that extends to 8.5 hours + 30 hours total. Connectivity runs on Bluetooth 5.4 with support for SSC, AAC, and SBC.
At USD 149.99, the Buds3 FE compete with models from Sony, Jabra, and Nothing. Some of those offer stronger ANC or better sound hardware at the same or lower price. The Buds3 FE make the most sense for Galaxy phone users who want smooth integration with their devices. If you are not in that ecosystem, the value becomes less clear.
