HP Launches OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 3 Laptops in India

HP has launched two new laptops in India, OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 3, as part of its next-gen AI PC lineup. These are Copilot+ PC laptops with built-in AI features and dedicated NPUs that can deliver up to 50 TOPS (trillion operations per second). The focus is on smarter performance and extended battery life. HP says the OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 3 are designed for users who want better productivity, efficiency, and AI-powered tools in their daily computing.

The OmniBook 5 comes with a 14-inch 2K OLED anti-glare display that offers rich colors and reduced eye strain. It is powered by the Snapdragon X1-26-100 processor, paired with Adreno GPU and 16GB LPDDR5x RAM. Storage options include 512GB and 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD.

The laptop runs on Windows 11 Home and includes HP’s AI companion tools to improve user experience. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for faster wireless connectivity.

You get a backlit keyboard, dual speakers, and a 1080p HP True Vision camera with noise reduction. The 59Wh battery promises up to 34 hours of usage on a single charge, making it ideal for users who need long-lasting performance on the go.

HP OmniBook 3

The OmniBook 3 is available in two sizes: 14-inch and 15.6-inch Full HD LCD displays. It has an anti-glare panel, offers 250 nits brightness, and covers 62.5% of the sRGB color gamut.

It is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 processor with AMD Radeon 840M graphics, along with a dedicated NPU for AI tasks. The laptop comes with 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 512GB PCIe Gen4 SSD.

Other features include dual speakers, a fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad. There’s also a decent selection of ports including USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI, and a headphone jack.

Both laptops come pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home 2024 (lifetime) and a 1-year Microsoft 365 subscription.

HP says both OmniBook models are made using recycled metals, ocean-bound plastics, and other eco-friendly materials. This is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability.

  • The HP OmniBook 5 starts at ₹70,990 for the 512GB model, and the 1TB variant is priced at ₹74,990. It is available on Amazon, HP World Stores, Croma, and Reliance Digital.
  • The OmniBook 3 starts at ₹68,478 and can be purchased through HP Online Stores and select offline retailers.
