realme GT 7T with 6.78-inch OLED Display, Dimensity 8400-MAX, and 7000mAh Battery Launched in India

realme GT 7T

realme has just launched the GT 7T in India, and this phone is packed with some seriously impressive specs. It comes as the successor to the GT 6T and was launched alongside the GT 7. Starting at ₹34,999, this one is clearly aimed at power users who want performance, durability, and a massive battery — all in one phone.

The GT 7T features a large 6.78-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness is a jaw-dropping 6000 nits, which is insane. Even on a sunny day, this screen should shine bright. It also has ultra-narrow bezels, so it looks quite modern and premium.

It runs on Android 15 with realme UI 6.0, and the company promises 3 years of major Android updates and 4 years of security patches. That is a big plus for users who want long-term value.

The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX processor, which is built on a 4nm process. It also scores 1.78 million points on AnTuTu, which makes it one of the most powerful phones in this segment. There is also up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and fast UFS 4.0 storage, so you get speed and smooth multitasking. To keep things cool during heavy gaming or extended use, realme has added a large 7700mm² vapor chamber cooling system. This should help keep performance stable even under pressure.

On the back, you get a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 32MP selfie shooter. The camera setup looks solid on paper, and the use of a Sony sensor should deliver crisp, detailed shots. I will need to test the camera in real-world conditions to say more.

For audio, the phone features stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification. The sound is loud and clear, making it perfect for watching videos, gaming, or even taking calls on speaker. It also supports USB Type-C audio, since there is no headphone jack.

The realme GT 7T ticks all the boxes when it comes to connectivity. It supports 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. You also get advanced location support with dual-band GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Beidou.

The in-display fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate. It unlocks the phone quickly and works reliably even with light touches. It also adds to the sleek design by keeping the front of the phone clean and modern.

One of the biggest highlights is the massive 7000mAh battery. This is one of the largest batteries on any mainstream phone. It also supports 120W fast charging, which means you can go from 0 to 50% in just 15 minutes and reach full charge in about 40 minutes. That’s crazy fast for a battery this big.

In terms of design, the Racing Yellow variant stands out with bold racing stripes and a vegan leather finish. It also comes in IceSense Blue and IceSense Black for those who want a more subtle look. The realme GT 7T also gets top-tier durability. It comes with IP69 rating, which means it can handle both dust and water like a champ. It also has an armored anti-fall structure and uses Armor Shell Glass for extra protection.
