OnePlus launched the Nord 4 in July last year. Now, it looks like the company is getting ready to launch its successor, the OnePlus Nord 5. While there is no official announcement yet, a reliable tipster has shared some key specifications and pricing details.

According to tipster Debayan Roy, the OnePlus Nord 5 could be priced around ₹30,000 in India. That is similar to the launch price of the Nord 4, which started at ₹29,999. Like previous models, the Nord 5 is expected to be available on Amazon and the OnePlus India website.

The tip suggests that the OnePlus Nord 5 may be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. This is considered a slightly toned-down version of the Dimensity 9400, but it could still offer better performance than the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 used in the Nord 4.

The phone is expected to feature a flat OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It may come with a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front camera. This time, OnePlus is tipped to offer a significantly larger 7,000mAh battery along with 100W wired fast charging. While the camera setup seems similar to the Nord 4, the battery and performance upgrades could be major highlights.

The OnePlus Nord 4 was a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3V in China. So, there is a chance that the Nord 5 could be based on the upcoming Ace 5V. However, it is too early to confirm that.
