Itel has officially launched its latest budget smartphone, the Itel A90, in India. The phone is the successor to the Itel A80 and brings several meaningful upgrades, including a faster 90Hz display, larger storage options.
On the front, the phone features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Always-On Display support. It is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T7100 processor, paired with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. The phone also supports virtual RAM expansion up to 8GB, which should help in better multitasking.
The phone runs Android 14 Go Edition with Itel OS 14. The phone introduces a Dynamic Bar interface for notifications and alerts. The highlight here is Aivana 2.0, Itel’s smart AI assistant capable of translating documents, explaining photos from the gallery, assisting in WhatsApp calls, and even solving complex math problems.
In the camera department, the Itel A90 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. It features DTS Sound Technology for good audio. The phone also includes both face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support, although a 10W charger is included in the box.
Price and Availability
The Itel A90 is available in two variants:
- ₹6,499 for the 4GB + 64GB model
- ₹6,999 for the 4GB + 128GB model
It is available in Starlit Black and Space Titanium colours and is currently being sold through offline retail stores across India.
