Motorola has officially announced the Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro smartphones for global markets. These new additions to the Edge series focus on sleek design, military-grade durability, and powerful cameras.
The Motorola Edge 60 is the more affordable of the two but still manages to pack in a lot of premium features. The phone comes with a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED quad-curved display that supports 120Hz refresh rate and delivers up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the display for protection.
The phone packs MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, a capable 4nm processor paired with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It comes in 8GB or 12GB RAM variants, with 256GB or 512GB storage, and even offers expandable storage via microSD. The phone runs Android 15 out of the box.
It has a triple camera that features 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor with OIS, 50MP ultra-wide camera, and 10MP 3x telephoto camera with up to 30x Super Zoom. For selfies and video calls, it includes a 50MP front-facing camera.
Motorola Edge 60 has dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and USB Type-C audio support. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C.
It packs 5200mAh battery, which supports 68W TurboPower fast charging. While it does not support wireless charging, the fast wired charging should be sufficient for most users.
Motorola Edge 60 has a rugged build and comes with IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also has MIL-STD-810H certification for military-grade durability.

It includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and 10MP 3x telephoto camera with 50x Super Zoom. The smartphone also has a 50MP front camera for selfies.
The phone also features Atmos, dual stereo speakers, and USB Type-C audio It packs a larger 6000mAh battery and supports 90W TurboPower wired charging as well as 15W wireless charging.

The Edge 60 Pro offers flagship-level performance, camera hardware that can compete with some of the best, and a design that is not only stylish but also built to last. However, the Dimensity 8350 Extreme SoC is still relatively new, and it will be interesting to see how it performs in real-world tests.
