Infinix has launched its latest smartphone, the Note 50s 5G+, in India. It is a part of the Note 50 series and brings several premium features at a mid-range price. The phone starts at Rs. 15,999 and will go on sale on Flipkart from April 24th at 12 PM.
The Infinix Note 50s 5G+ features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is curved and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It also supports 2304Hz PWM Dimming and has a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor. This 4nm chipset offers good performance and supports 90fps gaming. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and supports an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB.
The phone runs XOS 15 based on Android 15. It comes with useful features like Floating Window, Game Mode, Kids Mode, Dynamic Bar, Peek Proof, and more. Infinix has promised 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates.
The phone has a 64MP main camera with a Sony IMX682 sensor. It also has a secondary camera and a 16MP front camera. The rear camera supports 4K video recording and features Active Halo Lighting and a dual LED flash.
Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and USB Type-C. It also has an In-display fingerprint sensor and an IR sensor. The phone features stereo speakers with Sound by JBL, DTS audio, and dual microphones.
One of the unique features of this phone is the “Energizing Scent-Tech” in the Marine Drift Blue variant. The vegan leather back panel comes with a built-in fragrance using Microencapsulation Technology. The scent includes notes of marine, lemon, lily of the valley, amber, and vetiver. The intensity may change depending on usage and the environment. It is MIL-STD-810H certified for durability and has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
The phone packs a 5500mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. Infinix includes the charger in the box. The phone can be charged to 100% in about an hour. It also supports bypass charging and 10W reverse charging.
