Apple’s highly anticipated M4 MacBook Air could be unveiled this week. Apple CEO Tim Cook posted a teaser video on X featuring the words “there’s something in the air.” This phrase has historically been linked to the MacBook Air lineup. At the end of the video, a sleek, ultra-thin swoosh appears, confirming the upcoming launch of next-generation MacBook Air models.
According to reports, Apple is preparing to launch the M4 MacBook Air in both 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. It will come with an M4 chip that first appeared in the iPad Pro and later made its way into Mac devices like the iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro in late 2024. With the M4 chip, MacBook Air will get improved efficiency, better battery life, and enhanced GPU performance.
Here, it is also worth noting that Apple’s iPad Air is also due for an upgrade. The iPad Air received a design refresh in May 2024. We cannot entirely rule out surprises.
Apple has yet to confirm the exact date for the announcement.
