Infinix Note 50x 5G+ Launched in India: A Feature-Packed 5G Phone at an Affordable Price

Infinix has launched its latest smartphone, the Infinix Note 50x 5G+, in India. The phone is part of the Note 50 series and brings a host of impressive features at an aggressive price point. It has a 6.67-inch 120Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor, and a 5500mAh battery.

The Infinix Note 50x 5G+ sports a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. While it isn’t an AMOLED panel, the 672 nits peak brightness ensures good visibility outdoors.

The device comes in three color variants. The Sea Breeze Green has a Vegan Leather Finish. The Titanium Grey & Enchanted Purple color models feature a Metallic Finish. The smartphone also has MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and an IP64 rating for offering durability.

The Infinix Note 50x 5G+ is powered bya MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor, a 4nm octa-core chipset clocked at up to 2.5GHz. It is paired with 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, with an option to expand via microSD.

The phone runs Android 15 with XOS 15 out of the box. Some notable features of XOS 15 are Dynamic Bar, Floating Window, Peel Proof, Game Mode, and Kids Mode. Infinix has also promised 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates. There are also a few AI features for improved productivity:

  • AIGC Portrait Mode – Enhances camera shots
  • AI Wallpaper Generator – Auto-generates unique wallpapers
  • AI Note & Writing Assistant – Helps with note-taking
  • Circle to Search – Google-style search feature

The phone is equipped with a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture and a secondary camera, along with a dual LED flash. For selfies, there’s an 8MP front camera with an LED flash. The rear camera supports 4K video recording and features Active Halo Lighting for better low-light photos.

It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. The phone also has Stereo speakers with USB Type-C audio. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA support with multiple bands, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and more.

One of the biggest highlights is the 5500mAh battery. The phone also supports 45W fast charging. It also supports 10W reverse charging to charge other devices. It also supports bypass charging to reduce heating while gaming.

  • Rs. 12,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant
