HMD has officially unveiled its latest truly wireless earbuds, the HMD Amped Buds, at MWC 2025. These new TWS earbuds promise exceptional battery life, active noise cancellation (ANC), and a charging case that doubles as a power bank.
One of the biggest highlights of the HMD Amped Buds is its 95-hour total battery life when combined with the charging case. On a single charge, the earbuds offer 8 hours of playback with ANC off, but this drops to 4 hours with ANC enabled.
The charging case packs a 1,600mAh battery and supports Qi2 wireless charging. You can place it on the back of a compatible smartphone to charge it. This feature makes HMD Amped Buds not just an audio accessory but also a backup power solution.
HMD has opted for a classic in-ear design with silicone ear tips and a stem. The IP54 rating makes the earbuds resistant to dust and splashes. However, the charging cases carries an IPX4 rating. The buds are available in three colors: Black, Cyan, and Pink.
The 10mm drivers in each earbud deliver powerful sound, and the three-microphone setup enables ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) for clear calls. Buds also feature Dual Device Connection and Google Fast Pair.
The HMD Amped Buds are priced at EUR 199 and and will be available in select markets starting April 2025. However, HMD has not yet confirmed if these earbuds will launch in India.
