Last month at the India Mobile Congress, Xiaomi offered a preview of the Redmi A4 5G. Now the company has confirmed that the official launch of the Redmi A4 5G in India is set for November 20.
This new device will be the first smartphone in India to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC. The chipset promises to offer smooth performance, efficient multitasking, and reliable connectivity at an affordable price point.
The smartphone features a premium Halo Glass design. On the back, it has a circular camera module that includes two camera sensors, and LED flash. It also has a waterdrop notch on the display for the selfie camera.
In addition to the powerful Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC, Xiaomi has revealed some other specs. The Redmi A4 5G will sport a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There will also be a 50MP primary camera on the back and a 5160mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It should also feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 8MP front camera, and USB Type-C port.
Since the phone will be priced at less than Rs. 10000, the base variant should be priced at Rs. 8,499.
The Redmi A4 5G will be sold on Amazon.in, Xiaomi India’s online store and offline stores. Amazon has also added a dedicated landing page to tease the specifications of Redmi A4 5G India. The phone should be available in Black and White colors.
