Google introduced the Pixel 9 series back in August. The series includes Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Soon after the event, Google confined the availability of Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL in India. Now the company has confirmed that Pixel 9 Pro will be available in India starting October 17th. We already know that Pixel 9 Pro will start at Rs. 1,09,999 in the country.

Pixel 9 Pro has similar specs as in Pixel 9 Pro but comes with a smaller display and smaller battery.

Google Pixel 9 Pro features a 6.3-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with 1-120Hz variable refresh rate and up to 3000 nits peak brightness. The display panel has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It packs Google Tensor G4 processor with Titan M2 security chip, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone runs Android 14 out of the box and promises 7 years of OS upgrades along with security and Feature Drop updates.

The rear camera setup has 50 megapixels primary camera with OIS and LDAF. It also has 48 megapixels 123° Ultra-wide camera with Sony IMX858 sensor and 48 megapixels 5x telephoto camera with OIS. It supports 10-bit HDR recording, Cinematic Blur, and 4K 60 fps video recording. It also has 42 megapixels front camera with Sony IMX858 sensor.

The smartphone features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. It also has 5G SA/NA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11be, Bluetooth 5.3 LE, GPS, USB Type C 3.2, and NFC. Pixel 9 Pro packs 4700mAh battery with 27W wired fast charging and 21W wireless charging.
