BenQ has launched its BenQ RD240Q monitor designed specifically for programmers. The monitor features a coding mode that improves text clarity for a better coding experience in different lighting and themes.
BenQ RD240Q monitor has a 24.1-inch display with WQXGA resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. So, it has a more vertical area to show more code at once. It has 300 nits of brightness, 5ms response time, 178° Viewing Angle, and support for HDR 10. The monitor boasts 1.07 billion colors and a 95% P3 Color Gamut.
For a comfortable coding experience, the monitor has Night Hours Protection technology that combines minimal brightness settings, an eye-care filter, dark room optimization, and Brightness Intelligence Gen2. It adjusts display settings based on ambient lighting.
The monitor comes with both adjustable and fixed stand options. It also has a KVM switch and multi-stream transport. It is shipped with BenQ’s productivity software Display Pilot 2. The software lets users arrange preferred functions including Shortcuts, Desktop Partition, Application Mode, Software Dimming, Circadian Mode, and more.
It also has 2x 2W built-in speakers along with HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, x3 USB Type-A, x1 USB Type-C, and Headphone jack.
