YouTube Music gets ‘hum-to-search’ feature on Android

YouTube music is getting the ‘Hum-to-search’ feature on Android. The feature lets users play, hum, or sing a song to search and get matching results. This feature is useful if you can’t remember the song name, but know a few lines of it.

Now you will see another icon in the YouTube Music app near the search box and next to the voice search. Tapping it will ask you to Play, sing, or hum a song. The app will provide potential matches.

YouTube is rolling out the feature gradually and will be available to all users slowly. The company has also plans to expand the feature to iOS devices.

This feature is already available on Google Assistant, Google Search, and Pixel devices.
