Xiaomi just announced its latest Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro in its latest Civi series phone in China. THe phone comes with high-end specs including a 1.5K OLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Soc, and 67W fast charging.
Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro features a 6.55-inch 1.5K C8 12-bit OLED display. The display panel has a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 3000 nits peak brightness. It also supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 2160Hz PWM Dimming, and DC Dimming. The display panel has the protection of Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The phone packs an Octa Core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 4nm processor and Adreno 735 GPU. The phone has 12GB or 16GB LPPDDR5x RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. So, get the one depending on your needs. It also has a 4184mm² ultra-large circular cold pump cooling system Vapor-liquid separation design for keeping the phone cool.
The triple rear camera setup has 50 megapxiels primary camera with Hyper OIS and Leica Summilux lens. It also has 12 megapxiels 120° ultra-wide angle camera and 50 megapixels 2X telephoto camera with OIS. The phone can record up to 8K videos. At the front, the phone has dual camera setup with 32 megapixels primary front camera with 78° FoV and a 32 megapixels 100° FoV secondary camera. It also has quad soft LEDs at the front for low-light selfies.
It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 be, Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS, GPS (L1 + L5), NavIC, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1, and NFC. The phone packs a 4700mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It charges up to 100% in 40 minutes. However, the phone lacks wireless charging. It could be a disappointment for many.
Civi 4 Pro has a four-side micro-curved design on the front and back. It uses a Qicai gilding process polished with 16 complex processes and a twin-color design. The phone comes in Spring Wild Green, Soft Mist Pink, Breeze Blue, and Starry Black colors. It measures 157.2×72.77×7.45mm but the Spring Wild Green is slightly thicker with 7.75mm. It weighs 179.3g but the Spring Wild Green model weighs 177.6g.
Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro starts at 2999 yuan for 12GB + 256GB version, 3299 yuan for 12GB + 512GB version, and 3599 yuan for top-end 16GB + 512GB version.
There is also a limited edition with Kona leather + mirror glass finish in Black and White, Blue and Pink. It only comes in 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will go on sale in China starting on March 26.
