People, who use more than one WhatsApp account, will soon be able to manage all WhatsApp accounts on a single phone. The company is reportedly working on multi-account support. This feature will let users switch between different accounts on the same device. It will work the same way you could do it on Instagram.

WABetaInfo spotted multi-account support on WhatsApp beta 2.23.13.5.

All the accounts will be stored within your phone. You can log out of any account at any point. Smartphones come with a dual SIM option. But you need two different phones to use two different personal WhatsApp accounts. With this new multi-account support, users can manage multiple accounts on a single device.

At this moment, the company is testing the ability to manage multiple accounts on Android beta. It will surely get the same for iOS beta in the coming weeks. I can’t say when the company will bring the feature to the stable version.

WhatsApp recently added the ability to link one WhatsApp account to multiple devices. It is also working to add a username option to hide phone numbers and let users share screens on video calls. The company has also added the ability to lock chats and edit messages. WhatsApp engineers are actively working on adding new features to make the experience better.
