Hong Kong-based Transsion Holdings announced a joint venture with Spice Mobility Ltd. This joint venture agreement is for strengthing both companies’ foothold in the world’s fastest growing mobile market. It was held today in the presence of Mr. Lin Qin, Vice-President, Transsion Holdings and Mr. Dilip Modi, Executive Chairman, Spice Mobility.
This partnership aims to revitalize the ‘Spice brand’ to offer an all-new powerful and rich digital experience to the youth of India. The new Spice brand portfolio will offer stylishly devices that are specially designed for Indian youth. Transsion and Spice Mobility announced to launch 10 devices, five smartphones and five feature phones. These 10 mobiles will be launched under the new Spice brand by the end of this year. The first batch of these new mobiles will be launched in the starting of July and will be sold via the offline retail channel only.

In the event, Spice Brand unveiled its new brand identity and philosophy – “Make Sharing Better” with the brand new logo. The new logo denotes a youthful, vibrant, energetic and carefree brand.
