The iPadOS 17 will let users personalize the Lock Screen with photos, font styles, and colors of their choice. Live Activities will also provide real-time updates on sports, travel plans, and more on the Lock Screen.

Widgets are becoming more interactive and will let users perform tasks with a single tap Developers can utilize this feature to provide users more ways to access their apps.

The NotesApp is getting enhanced PDF organization, annotation, and collaboration features. The iPadOS 17 will also use machine learning to identify fields in PDFs and can also quickly add details from contacts.

Messages app is also getting the ability to create Live Stickers from personal photos, emoji stickers, and a new Emoji Drawer. It is also getting improved search and inline message replies. The company has added automatic transcription and real-time location sharing in audio messages.

FaceTime will also now allow users to leave audio or video messages. It is also getting Reactions.

Safari has introduced Profiles to keep personal and professional spaces separate. Private Browsing also locks tabs with Face ID.

Finally, the iPad is also getting the Health app offering detailed insights, trends, and interactive charts for your health data. You will be able to track medications, emotions, and moods, and view health records.

Stage Manager now offers more control over window position and size. It also supports built-in cameras on external displays. Freeform app is also getting new drawing tools. Spotlight offers shortcuts to the next action, improved visual results, expanded recognition for food, and more.

The keyboard is getting improved autocorrection. It can provide inline predictive text and Dictation’s speech recognition has also been enhanced. Maps now enable offline map downloads, exploration of place information, and search. AirPlay now provides easier content sharing with on-device intelligence learning preferences.

iPadOS 17 beta is now available for developers and will be released for users next month.
