Box is the latest company that announced offering AI features to its users. The company has partnered with OpenAI to bring the first tools on the platform. These AI tools are not ready yet, so the company will work with early customers under private beta to refine these features before launching them to all users.

The company calls its Ai tool Box AI. It aims to help users generate more content. You can ask Box AI to summarise the document, get key points of any document, write content on a specific topic, generate meeting agenda from a meeting document, or create a talk track of a report.

If you are writing a document, you can ask Box AI to provide you with relevant content and get your work done faster. Customers can also use this feature to summarize financial documents, surface insights from customer surveys, and tailor onboarding documents to a specific customer’s needs.

Box CEO Aaron Levie confirmed that early customers who are testing the product have already experienced productivity gains

Box is using OpenAI’s technology and has configured it to answer only information from within the customer’s existing documents to prohibit incorrect responses. In the coming months, the company could also provide alternative model types along with ChatGPT to give customers more options.
