Redmi has launched its first Smart TV running Fire TV OS in India. This smart TV is called Redmi Smart Fire TV and runs Amazon Fire OS out of the box. It also comes with an Alexa voice-enabled remote. The smart TV is priced at Rs. 13999.

Redmi Smart Fire TV features a 32-inch HD-Ready display with a 178-degree viewing angle, Vivid Picture Engine, and Auto Low Latency Mode. The display panel also has a 6.5ms response time.

If I talk about the specs, the smart TV packs a 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex A35 processor with Mali-G31 MP2 GPU, 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal storage. The smart TV runs Fire OS 7 which lets users get access to 12,000 apps from the Fire TV app store. Customers can also stream Amazon miniTV, and 70+ live channels such as Aaj Tak, Zee News, India Today, DD National, and more for free.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), AirPlay, Miracast, Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x HDMI 2.1 (1 contains ARC), 2 x USB 2.0, 3.5mm jack, and Ethernet. It has 2 x 10W speakers with support for Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, and DTS Virtual: X.

It comes with Redmi Voice Remote that has a dedicated Alexa button. The remote also has Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Music buttons.

Redmi Smart Fire TV 32″ is priced at 13,999 but will be available at an introductory price of Rs. 11,999. The introductory price includes an additional offer of Rs. 1,000 on Mi.com and Amazon.in for a limited time. The smart TV will be up for sale starting March 21st.
