Razer has unveiled a new way to make your PC gaming more immersive. The company introduced Project Carol at CES 2023. It is a head cushion to attach to your PC gaming chair and get impressive audio and haptic feedback to feel the game you are playing.

The company didn’t provide many details but confirmed a few key things. It will provide 7.1 surround sound. The haptics is powered by Razer’s “HyperSense” technology. This technology was used in Razer’s gaming headsets.

Razer confirms that the head cushion will short any gaming chair you have and connects to your PC wirelessly via a 2.4GHz connection. It is battery-powered and can offer up to eight hours of usage.

Project Carol’s head cushion has no wires or complicated setup. Just plug in the cushion’s proprietary 2.4 GHz wireless USB dongle to your PC. Use USB Type-C to charge it.

The company has not provided pricing or availability details. The name could also be changed before the project becomes a consumer product.
