EV Charging Aggregator ElectricPe raises $5 Million in Pre-Series A

ElectricPe

EV charging aggregation platform ElectricPe has raised $5 million in a pre-Series A round led by Green Frontier Capital, Blume Ventures, and Micelio Fund. The funding round also saw participation from NB Ventures, Anchorage Capital Partners, Supermorpheus, and Climate Angels.

The company will use the funding to deepen technology investments and scale operations.

“We’ve received positive consumer response to our offering of a single app to find, use and pay across any charging or swapping station. Our belief has always been in stage-by-stage capitalization as we ramp up our operations and create a holistic full-stack consumer-facing platform,” said Avinash Sharma, co-founder, and CEO, ElectricPe.

ElectricPe was founded by Avinash Sharma and Raghav Rohila in May 2021. The app lets users locate and access EV charging points. The app also lets users pay for the charging by scanning the QR code. The company had also partnered with Hero Electric to set up charging points in apartments, complexes, and other places.

The company claims that it has already built a network of 10,000 live charging points in Bengaluru in just 7.5 months. It further claims that app usage has increased by 30 percent month-on-month.

ElectricPe raised $3 million in a seed funding round in November 2021.
