Vivo has launched its latest entry-level smartphone Vivo Y02 in India. The phone comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ display, octa-core MediaTek processor, 8 megapixels rear camera, 5 megapixels selfie camera, and 5000 mAh battery. It is priced at Rs. 8999.

Vivo Y02 features a 6.51-inch HD+ FullView display with 720×1,600 pixels resolution. The phone has a waterdrop-style cutout for selfie camera and features an Eye Protection Mode. It runs Android 12 Go Edition-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.

The phone packs an octa-core MediaTek processor. The company didn’t confirm the Soc but it is believed to be Helio P22 SoC. The phone also has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Storage is further expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.

Vivo Y02 features an 8-megapixel main camera and 5 megapixels selfie camera. It also has Face Wake feature that lets you unlock the phone using the front camera. The camera app offers several features including Time-Lapse, Bokeh Mode and Face Beauty.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS mad micro USB. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery. It also supports 10W wired charging and 5W reverse charging.

Vivo Y02 measures 163.99×75.63×8.49 mm and weighs 186 grams. It comes in Orchid Blue and Cosmic Grey colors.

The phone is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will go on sale through offline retail stores and Vivo E-Store.
